João Matheus de Melo Assonitis is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he started Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 14. Influenced by his family. With a history in martial arts, he was promoted to black belt by Professor Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa and Darwin Falcão, with direct lineages from great names in the Gracie/Carlson lineage.
