Deise Leonanjo is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Born in Itamaraju/BA, she started Jiu-Jitsu in 2016 with Professor Rodrigo “Pitbull” Teixeira de Freitas/BA and years later was promoted to black belt in 2022 by Professor Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa. Recognized both for her impressive competitive history and for her passion for transmitting knowledge and technique to her students.
As a coach, she combines discipline and empathy, offering training that challenges and inspires. Her methodology is based on technical detail, movement efficiency, and constant encouragement of evolution, whether for beginners or high-performance competitors. On the mat, she is firm; Outside of it, she is an example of dedication, focus, and overcoming. She is more than a Jiu-Jitsu teacher. She is a leader. A reference. A force that transforms the mat into a space of empowerment and personal achievement.
